Great game! I had a lot of fun with this one, although I got a bit stuck in a few areas. Really loved the dialogue, it was very funny how they kept breaking the fourth wall all the time. I hope to see a sequel or perhaps another game with this same premise in the future
Thanks! I love making games with unique concepts, but usually I make new ones instead of recycling previous ones.
I have a game that shares some similitudes which is set in the same game world, but it's a very hard puzzle game for people not savy with rpg maker games, so maybe it's not the best choice. https://waldorf.itch.io/exploit-keeper
Awesome game! The puzzles were clever. You couldn't "brute force" your way through like you sometimes can for puzzle games, and had to really think through some of the big steps. And the dialogue made me laugh. Good job!
The game actually started as a "brute-forceable puzzle", but luckily I noticed this big problem the second day of the Game Jam, and found this cool idea to fix it! C:
I loved this game! Unique mechanics and I thought the story and banter made it stand out from most puzzle games I've played. The length was perfect as well.
I liked unlocking areas (the sound, the text, the sense of achievement you get… truly a dopamine machine), the polishing, the banter giving more life to the protagonist and how polished and original is this game, and the puzzles are fun and doable, and not randomly hard because they have to be.
You will go far in this jam, Waldorf. I am sure of this.
Thank you for your efforts and thank you for making a really good game.
Thanks a lot for the testing! I improved a lot of things thanks to you! I'm glad you like the idea, even if I'm not sure this is the right sort of game for a 96 hour jam. XD
Truly a mind-blowing game, which makes it incredibly fun and amazing. The possibilities here seem endless for a puzzle that needs careful thought and study. Beautiful project, congratulations!
The development process behind the design of the puzzle was really turbulent, I inserted the main mechanic only halfway in the jam because the gameplay was too simple, and it was a "giant" update! C:
Yeah, unfortunately the web version runs only sometimes: I didn't have time to check properly for the jam. It's also deprecated compared to the downloadable version.
Well, I was wrong that the web version was stopping me where I was, I just didn't realize that the second city thing has the same "Walk out the regular way to go from small to Regular" as the hometown and walked out the top every time.
I've never done it -I admit it could be an intresting experience in writing- but I don't really see it fit with this game: apart from the GTS theme, the game is too much puzzle-focused to have scenes like those
Thanks for the comment though, I suppose you liked the protagonist. C:

"Failed to load audio/bgm/Town-Village%20Theme%201.ogg"
Luckily it can be easily solved by pressing the "retry" button.
Unfortunately the web version sometimes doesn't load the first audio in time.

I'm personally a sucker for putting story, boss and characters even in puzzle games.
This time I restrained myself from adding a boss, at least. XD
How do I get pass the pyramid in the desert? The puzzle hints/solutions doc doesn't mention it.
You need to step in that region from above, it'll create a passage.
I'll update the doc, thanks!
i have this problem
Error
Failed to initialize graphics
The game works, but unfortunately there is a bug I didn't fix in time where the game sometimes crashes on launch.
With the downloadable version it happens less often.
I'll upload the fix to the bug in 2 days anyways.
I am lucky to be a tester of the game!

I got a little confused, but overall it was fun!
Thanks again for playing it!
I loved your Kalena voiceover. XD
Can somebody help me with this? These are all of the areas I could access right now.
Try these
(I didn't access all the areas, it's just a bug)
Thank you very much!
Yeah, Rult has the solution, just be sure to circle back to the starting village before leaving the big map to be able to access the new route.
I was thinking this style was pretty similar to Waldorf's style. Imagine my surprise when I realized its a Waldorf game
Ahahaha! Thanks, I wasn't expecting my style to be this recognizable. XD

Lol the great "stealth" pun opening! Hello world!~
Good luck in the jam!
Is it impossible to play through the Web version? Okay, so I broke the first cave. Right. Gonna go to the download version later.
Thanks a lot!

Oh, that's what you meant. Nice, mistery solved!
I know it's just me, but will there be at one point a R-18 update?
No, there won't be anything of the sort.

I did. (Especially the Map Size Banter)
Perhaps, after preforming the puzzle section, perhaps a "free-roam map" for those sorts of scenes?
(Oh, and it seems to go onto a loop when I finished the third bridge)
