After the jam - What will happen?
Hello people! The jam voting period is finally over. I had a lot of fun of making this game, but also by playing all of the other games from the game jam! I appreciated a lot all of the comments of the game, and I'm very happy by the positive reception it got!
Now, this feels the right time to talk about the future of the game: The development of the game will continue, expanded, but not now.
I aimed for too high in the game jam, and ended up with a demo. I wanted to finish the content I had in mind right after it, and publish it for free on Steam to start having a presence there. But I realized this project could be just something more and can be expanded by just that extra amount that would make it a memorable short experience: more battles, more dodges, a better use of the timeline, a rework of the protagonist character...
But since I already have projects I'm working on, this game will have to wait.
I would say... around 2-3 years, after The Respawn Banter and another project yet to be publicly announced will be completed.
Also, there will be no update post-jam, despite the demo having a bunch of minor bugs. I want to focus on other projects for now.
I hope you'll understand. If you don't, well, I'll just dodge it.
