This was fun, but I had to modify the game files to be able to get through the final battle. (Fortunately, it's all technically human-readable!) Details below in case people want to avoid a small spoiler, but the gist is that the game stopped taking my inputs during that fight.
Of course, this does fit the theme of trying to thwart the player, but I don't think Rea should be fighting us that hard. :)

I think the calls to `window.moveTo` were taking more than a frame to complete on my computer and so the keys were never being polled, or something like that. It just stopped responding to my inputs as soon as the window started to move. I simply removed those calls in the JSON files and was able to finish. If you only called that function once every two frames, that should also fix the issue.
It's weird, it never happened to other people. Unfortunately the script has to be called each frame, otherwise the movement won't be as smooth. But I already made an alternative for the Steam release.
This is such a fun game, and the new update is looking great and I can't wait to play it!
though I do kinda wish there was a toggle to make it so she doesn't raise the volume too much, because ow my ears. I wasn't expecting it to get that loud.
Keep up the amazing work though, and I can't wait for the steam version.
Would you believe me if I said that was the default volume of RPG Maker games? Still, I think it's against the spirit of the game having an option to make some parts more "sufferable". XD But I'll see if I can smooth up some parts for the steam release. C:
That's weird, it never happened. I'll check if there is any issue in the game, but I recall RPG Maker games have an unusual bug like this that might be caused by your computer Bluetooth. (Don't ask how or why, I don't know XD)
I am a big fan of games that expand their potential, breaking that little illusion of safety we have over our control over our own computers. Even though the jokes were at my expense, they were funny, and I'm excited to see more from this developer.
In my defense, I just played a game designed to frustrate the player. My apologies for the unreasonable comment, I definitely should have figured out the alt+f4 joke.

Thanks for letting me know! C:
This game is a lot of fun, and the mario maker section is clearly full of heart. it's great to see a parody like that.
Thanks, ahaha!
I love to watch videos of Mario Maker troll levels, and I thought they would fit well in an optional section of the game! C:
Haha your game is so funny i love it :3
Thanks! C:

“A game where the antagonist is a girl that doesn’t want you to play.”
So, basically any game with a female antagonist that tries to kill your avatar?
I think she was talking with you specifically.

Thanks! I love to give the player something unexpected, so I took this chance to mess a little with the computer.
That's probably because I give priority to experience rather than longevity.
Can't hit f2 on laptop, game unwinnable. I do like variety puzzles, but I like playable ones more.
You're supposed to press F4, not F2 C:

Ahahaha, not a problem! C:
I realise the final battle is pretty frustrating, I'm working on a remake to make the game less frustrating while still keeping its charm!
What's the update about? Still gotta play the Respawn update...
Rea postponed the update post, it came out right now: https://waldorf.itch.io/invaligate/devlog/871025/v160-its-a-secret-
It's mostly an update for user experience to avoid frustration in the final fight, even if there is a little surprise for streamers. C:
