Arthisio - The Vanishing Point [Prototype]
There's no way out? Every path is blocked?
Well... It depends on the point of view.

In a top-down 2D world where you are limited to walk only on what you can see, a rotation of the map will allow you to have a complete different point of view!
Escape from the alien ship by rotating the entire point of view! Previous paths that were previously covered by walls by perspective can now be explored with a simple command!
Study the geometry of the place to determine the right path to take in this flipping mind-spinning puzzle game!
Arthisio, a kind-hearted thief got suddently kidnapped by some aliens. They seem to want to study their species to obtain some sort of knowledge, but why?
Explore this mysterious research vessel, and meet an array of characters with geometry-breaking powers!
Spin the perspective to win your freedom back!
It's kind of polished to be talking about a prototype, but I'm not 100% certain of the overall artistic, level design and narrative direction of the game.
It's cool on paper, but the gameplay risks to become repetitive and end up as just another RPG maker game with a good idea but nothing more.
The project was on hiatus for some years already, but I definitely plan on resuming the project when I finish The Respawn Banter.
That's why I would gladly enjoy comments about what you liked, didn't like or wish was present in this version of the game to see which direction to take in the future!

the skull paintings in the boss room let you get on and off the walls. There’s also a few spots you can interact with a rotator from the side and get stuck in a wall. I’m not sure if those were intentional, or how they could be useful. At one point the boss was chasing me from outside the map, I’m not sure how he got there. I like this game, it’s fun.
Thanks for letting me know! I fixed those mistakes right now.
I don't know about how the boss left the arena though, I'll see in the future if it happens after this fix. C:
the “even here?” Dialogue triggers even if you’ve already triggered it. He takes a step away, it rotates, then he takes damage and steps away again. Also I like the glowing blue circles to indicate rotated panels they are very helpful.
Also when rotating there is a wire panel that appears for the animation that you removed.
Oh, thanks for letting me know! I'll fix it in the next update.
Hey, I'm letting you know that Y8 stole your game: https://www.y8.com/games/arthisio_the_vanishing_point
If you send an email to them about it, they will remove it.
I just wish they asked devs for permission before claiming ad revenue from others work.
Another site that stole it: https://www.gamezhero.com/games/arthisiothevanishingpoint
Oh, thanks for letting me know, I appreciate it a lot!
I'm considering though that this is a free demo and they're not really stealing users from this page, even if it's annoying.
So I think I'll let them keep it on for now. That means more people playing my game at the end. C:
